1. Services

BookandFixit provides handyman and odd-job services in Northampton and surrounding areas covered by NN postcodes. Services are subject to availability and our assessment of the work required.

2. Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made online or by phone. Payment is due either at the time of booking (card payments) or upon completion of work (cash payments). We reserve the right to require card payment for larger jobs.

3. Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Same-day cancellations may incur a fee of up to 50% of the quoted price to cover lost time and opportunity costs.

4. Work Estimates

Time estimates are based on standard conditions. Actual time may vary due to unforeseen complications such as wall construction, access issues, or material condition. We will discuss any significant variations before proceeding.

5. Liability

We carry public liability insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or issues caused by materials provided by the customer. Any claims must be reported within 7 days of work completion.

6. Work Not Covered

We do not undertake gas work, major electrical installations, or structural alterations. These require certified specialists and appropriate certifications.
